I can't really figure out how it works sometimes and on some discs. I don't see anything that could be causing this, so I hoping someone has had similar issues or can point me to a potential area to look.
The discs are in flawless condition and I have cleaned the drive multiple times for dust. But most of them would get read errors during the process and end up with distorted video or audio or the audio itself would fall out of sync with the video.
I recently purchased the Star Wars Skywalker saga for the UHD cuts and wanted to rip them. Blu-rays work fine, but when I start ripping my UHD discs, the speed is extremely slow and errors occur 90% of the time.
I have been using it to rip my Blu-ray collection using 1-to-1 MKV passthrough (DVDFab is the software I use). I have a PC with an LG WH16NS40 Super Multi Blue Internal SATA 16x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter installed.
